Providing service to Winston-Salem and surrounding area.
We call ourselves “The Prom Kings” here at the Silas Creek Triangle Rent A Car branch because we do the big dance every weekend! We are a very busy car rental branch and are consistently the top office in rental car utilization each weekend. But we think of what we do as more like a dance rather than something stressful. I enjoy the daily ebb and flow of our office.
Our staff is fantastic at booking rental cars and loves the challenges of providing customer service that goes above and beyond the “norm.”
The business of rental cars is unlike most other businesses. Getting a rental car is usually one part of a long list of things that need to all come together for an event, vacation, or business meeting to happen. When something doesn’t go right with one piece of the puzzle (such as a late flight) everything can potentially unravel.
We consider it our responsibility to do whatever it takes to get our rental car customers back on track regardless of the challenges and obstacles. We love putting our customers in rental cars quickly and with a smile so that they can move on with their plans smoothly.
I took 3 years off from the rental car business because I was unable to find a company with all the dynamics I was looking for – then I found Triangle. Triangle Rent A Car is by far the best rental car company I have seen in 12 years.
Daniel Rehmeyer has been in the rental car business for 12 years. He is married with two children, ages 18 and 22. His daughter is a junior at Appalachian State, (GO APP!) and his son attends community college in Winston Salem. Daniel is a self-proclaimed avid, but not good, golfer and enjoys softball, flag football, and spending time with his family.

The Winston-Salem region of North Carolina can trace its roots back to the middle of the 18th century when the Moravian Church sent a Bishop, Gottlieb Spangenberg, to select a site for settlement. His choice was on Muddy Creek’s three forks and he named it "die Wachau" for Count Nicholas Ludwig von Zinzendorf’s Austrian estate.
Visitors to Winston-Salem today can enjoy a wide variety of art galleries as well as visit the renowned Downtown Arts District referred to as DADA where visitors can browse a collection of working studios, galleries, restaurants and shops. Winston-Salem is renowned for their eclectic art scene and there are many different types of art for every kind of art enthusiast.
For those more interested in historical pursuits there are many places to satisfy your desire such as Horne Creek Living Historical Farm where you can step back into the early part of the 1900s and become a part of the past. You may want to visit the home of Jule Gilmer Korner who built his home Korner's Folly in the latter part of the 1800s. It is a seven level house that boasts 22 rooms and is called, "The Strangest House in the World."
At the Historic Grove School you can relish what life was like for African-American scholars in their one room schoolhouse. There is a great collection of artifacts and exhibits that will greatly enhance your knowledge of what education was like for former slaves when the Civil War ended.
For those who love the outdoors, you can visit Tanglewood Park, known for its woodlands, streams and grassy pastureland. There are activities such as golf, horseback riding, and tennis for those who want a little action and for those looking for quieter pursuits, the aquatics center and the arboretum may be just the ticket. Winston-Salem is a region that is rich in history, dining, shopping and so many other pursuits you would need a lifetime to experience all the area has to offer.
