In 2000 Triangle Rent A Car opened the Virginia Beach location on Newtown Road the same year our Mercury Boulevard location in Hampton opened. This was an attempt to get the Triangle Rent A Car name known throughout the Tidewater region. It was better to advertise and sell two locations in the region to our business contacts at the same time. Just like other Triangle Rent A Car locations across the Southeast, the goal of our Virginia Beach location was to build a loyal base one customer at a time by providing extraordinary customer service. This practice continues today.

MDA Helping Jerry's Kids. Triangle Rent A Car will partner with the Muscular Dystrophy Association through the Green Shamrocks Program. Our customers may purchase a Green Shamrock for $1 or a Gold Shamrock for $5 when a vehicle is rented. Our goal is to send a child to the MDA Summer Camp. MDA does not receive funding from government agencies or United Way. It is through your donations that the MDA's mission to find a cure for over 43 neuro-muscular diseases, including ALS or Lou Gehrig's disease will become a reality.
